RockPaperShotgun - Mortal Kombat: Komplete Edition (AKA Mortal Kombat 9) has been removed from Steam:

Info:
- Rumor is: this could be over MK9's tie-in w/ Freddy Kruger character, who was a DLC in Mortal Kombat: Komplete Edition.
- Recent MK's have often had other licensed characters from movies, comics, etc. in their games (i.e. Predator in MK10, Terminator in MK11).
- WB once held the rights internationally for Elm Street IP, but no longer hold them everywhere.
- WB only holds the rights here in the States.
- Wes Craven's Nightmare on Elm Street IP was returned to his estate, back in 2019.
- Oddly enough, for X360 and PS3 platforms, MK: Komplete is still digitally available...

Well dang, it was going for dirt cheap a couple times and I thought about grabbing it.
