I loved it. I don't know what the Heck the critics were on a bout.

Zack Snyder did a remarkable job bringing 4 (arguably 5) story arcs together in one film. I cannot fathom how it could have been done better.

I had some gripes but overall I had a great time. It's certainly not film of the year for me (not even Superhero movie of the year) but I enjoyed it.

I saw it weeks ago, yeah it was a bit slow, but its comic book material...not Shakespeare. It has some of the best action scenes I've seen in a superhero movie.

I just watched the 3 hours of the "ultimate" edition.  Man, that felt so forced, with Bruce/Batman in particular shoved into a flat mould of angst and hatred, which later magically dissipates with one word (Martha).  Perry White becomes the asshole editor from the Spiderman world all of a sudden.   Then the John Boorman's Excalibur moment ("come father, let us embrace at last"), followed by the bagpipes right out of the end of Start Trek II.  Aee!  Not my cup of tea.  Shock and awe on the audience is the thing now?  Oh, but the split-second of dirt bouncing, before cutting abruptly to black.  Ooo!  Let's hang on that cliff for another year or two!  Bah!  Humbug!

The action was awesome, though.  I have to give them that.
