I just stumbled on this title since it was part of the Humble Monthly games for March 2018.

Holy Potatoes! We’re in Space?! is a whacky space exploration game where you manage your very own spaceship, craft hundreds of weapons, and explore the vastness of a veggie-filled universe.

If you like FTL you'll probably like this.

Looks fun! I never did play the Weapons Shop and cooking game they did, but the former in particular looked pretty cool.
