I started playing Enchanted Arms and realized it was the worst and unintentionally most homoerotic game RPG ever made.

Yeah, that one looked a bit spooky to me.  Didn't get very good reviews, either.

I'm playing Dead Rising (yes, still), Kameo: Elements of Power, and Dead or Alive 4, all for Xbox 360.  Who'd have thought?  With the PC out of commission gaming-wise until I get off my lazy ass and fix this whole HDD thing, that's really all I've got that I care to play.  I plan to pick up Okami at some point, and I really want to get my hands on Loco Roco as well, but those are future plans.  For now I'm enjoying the three games I'm playing quite a lot, and I plan to review all three for the site.  The Dead Rising review I just finished today.

I am currently play Ikaruga.

I can't pick up any other game and have much fun with it.  Oblivion is fun in short bursts, but now that I've done my guild's quests, there isn't that much I want to do with my character anymore.

Counter-strike bores me after like 10 minutes.  I just finished FEAR too.

I miss WoW.

Did you finish all the different guild quests in Oblivion?  You can really go through all of them as any given character if you know what you're doing.

I was playing Madden 07 and Dead Rising, but my brother took his 360 back to school.  I have God of War and Shadow of the Colossus.  But they are both still in the shrink wrap as my PS2 is broke and I don't want to pay $130 for a new one.

How much does it cost to get one repaired?

I just finished Xenosaga Episode III last week so I've jumped back into Star Wars Galaxies at the moment.  I am probably going to rent Okami when that comes out and am considering getting Guitar Hero or possibly Disgaea 2 when I get my next paycheck.

Oh, and I've been playing Front Mission 3.  Thinking of playing Crono Cross again as well.

I've just gone back to playing Half-Life 2 singleplayer mods. I'm playing SMOD: Tactical (basically the same old HL2 campaign except with a few tactical based changes to the gameplay). And I'm going through "Coastline to Atmosphere" which is turning out to be a very well done SP campaign. I think it took the guy a year to put it together.

I got the El Matador demo, but it was so full of bugs and it wouldn't start properly. However I found El Matador on the torrents, and I gave it a shot. Wow, that game sucks. It's basically Max Payne without quality + cheesy 80's movie drug story + crap graphics + terrible gameplay. Other than that it's pretty much a cheap rip-off of Max Payne. It really feels incomplete too.

Hehe well I didn't feel too articulate at the time. The game is so bad it shocked my conscious mind. The game's interface is pretty buggy too. If you don't save (quicksave is the only manual saving option), you'll have to go back to the main menu and load an autosave or start the level over, and the autosaves are pretty far apart as well. I don't this game even deserves a worthwhile review.

Ungh, I'm so dismayed with the developer's work on this game. It looked promising in the development stage.

Currently playing Marc Ecko's Getting Up: Contents Under Pressure.

This is a fun one, to say the least -- feels like part GTA: SA (w/ the tagging walls and areas), part Prince of Persia (jumpnig around and stuff), and part Double Dragon (beat 'em up game).

It's annoying you can't even reconfigure the KB/mouse controls.

The joypad controls are fine.

Agreed.

The voice-acting, presentation, and the licensed music is very good.

Playing Dirge of Cerberus and Madden 07, which my roomate bought. I laughed because he has 06, and he bought 07 thinking it would be so much better. It's literally the exact same game with a few new bullshit things thrown in. It amazes me that people would buy the new game every year. I guess it just shows the importance of marketing.

Yeah, my friend bought FIFA 06 the day it was released, roughly a couple of months later FIFA World Cup 06 came out and he bough that too! It's only been a few months and FIFA 07 is coming out in a week, and he's already lining up for it. I mean I can understand the "collector's" nature, but seriously buying the "same" game three times is too much.

What do you Dirge of Cerberus players think of it?  The reviews have been awful, and from what I've seen they seem completely legitimate.

I've only played a few minutes of it so far, but it seems fairly elementary to me, even considering that I picked the hard mode for "seasoned fps players". It has pretty cutscenes  :) The concept is kinda cool, but so far it seems like they could have done a lot more with it. Also very linear.

I need a PC game to play. Ideally I'd love a Ninja game, but they're friggin' imposible to find. I went out hunting for I-Ninja (by Namco), since I heard it was released on PC too, but it's nowhere to be found. And since I have no PS2 anymore, I'm limited to PC titles.

I've replayed MGS2 way too many times, but that's the kinda game I feel like playing. I need a stealth, action, platform, or general ass-kicking game.

Any suggestions?

Hehe well, my nbrother just bought one, sweet deal, but he's on the other side of the planet right now. I'll be there soon, but until then I really need an action/stealth game fix.

I've been playing Ninja Gaiden on SNES, Shinobi on the Megadrive (Genesis), and Bushido Blade 2 on PSX. Thank God for emulators. I actually have some PS2 and Xbox games, which I got when I actually had the consoles.

I really wish there was a working PS2 or Xbox emulator already! It's taking forever!

I too am currently looking for new games to play, but nearly nothing out on the PC interests me enough to warrant a purchase.

All I'm playing is FEAR's multiplayer, which is pretty fun, and like 5-30 minutes of counter-strike before I stop.

MGS3?
I wish, but it hasn't been released for PC. I doubt they'll bring this one to PC, but one can always hope.

I'd go for some Splinter Cell, but I've finished the 3 games several times over.

Come to think of it, I'd really love to play The Two Thrones right about now, but I'm not gonna buy it because of stupid StarForce. Besides, I'd rather wait for a trilogy pack. I'm really looking forward to Assassin's Creed too.

Man, why aren't there many (or ANY) Ninja games for PC! Somebody needs to make a "The Last Ninja" revival, with up-to-date graphics and bad-ass gameplay.

Ungh, my gaming itch is getting worse by the minute.

I just watched the 30 minute Gamespot Live Review of MGS3, and this game really really needs to make it to PC! Especially considering the multiplayer aspect it has!

I'm currently downlaoding the Okami video review.. Based on the screenshots the game's visuals look really intriguing! I doubt the screenshots do it much justice too, I need to see it in action.
