I jumped on that Indie Pulse Pack for $5.  I'll be playing those a bit when I get home from work if I can pull myself away from Splatterhouse for a bit.

I picked up the Indie Clever Pack myself. Eufloria and VVVVV were games I had kept an eye on for a while but never felt the need to buy for full price. The other stuff, I could pass on (I already have World of Goo), but for an effective price of $2.50 for the two main games I couldn't pass. Now I have to decide if I want to buy those GTA IV expansions. I feel like I could put some time into GTA again and for $10 that seems pretty fair.

I would have bought Conviction a second time (already have it on the 360), had the deal been for $10 or so.

But I did pick up Mount & Blade: Warband. I am not sure how much of it I will play, but I am impressed a husband wife team put it together. I was considering SF4, but I played the hell out of it on the 360 already.

G4W Marketplace might be selling Blacklight: Tango Down for 99 cents tomorrow to buy-to-download.
I'll keep you all posted, if it's true and all.

Well if you have a windows live account tied to your xbl account it's simple.  Even if you don't it's pretty simple.  Enter in credit card information and click purchase basically.

The one thing that bugs me about the program is that clicking "play" on a particular game does not start the game.  It merely opens a folder containing the game files, leaving you to find the .exe.  makes no sense to me.

What the fuck?  I can't sign into the marketplace.  I remember trying to play Dirt 2 a while ago and all of a sudden not being able to sign on, thinking nothing of it, and playing offline.  Now it seems I can't sign into the marketplace application; getting the error that my username or password is incorrect...but like, right away...like it doesn't even check.  I went to xbox.com and could sign in with my info just fine, but for some fucking reason, the actual program won't let me do it.

I'm not making another account, so it's either I find a way around this or I just don't BUY any G4WL games. Especially because this essentially means I've lost all my saves. Oh, and I was pretty pumped on Viva Pinata for 99 cents.

Interesting.  Changed my password, didn't help.  Rebooted after changing my password and it worked.  Viva Pinata is downloading.  What a shitty system.

Okay, how many animals are there in Viva Pinata?  Because it seems like three new ones are attracted to my garden every minute...making it pretty much impossible to do anything other than watch some unskippable cut scenes introducing them.

Okay, it seems I've been going about this the wrong way.  Space and the population cap are way to long to have one of every animal in your garden...I guess.   I guess the goal is to go up the chain?  Also, how do you get money?  Breeding animals and selling flowers/fruit are the only ways I've found...but fruit seems to grow soooo slow.

I eventually gave up on VP because of the intense micromanagement needed, so much that I couldn't dedicate enough attention to expanding and improving the garden.  Maybe I gave up too soon; don't know.  Gpw's experience sounds very familiar.

This isnt really a deal, but it fits here.

Steam Treasure Hunt

Every couple days there are 4 objectives, and it seems like most of them are going to require you to do something in a game. For example, today you can set up an avatar in Steam, or do something in Chime, Ruse, and Poker Night at the Inventory.

Each individual thing you complete enters you to win 5 games off your wishlist. If you manage to complete 10 challenges AND log in on December 20th you will be entered to win 100 games of your choosing.

So, kind of a round about way of winning stuff. I probably wont have a shot at the grand prize, but I've got one entry to win 5 games. Whatever.

Yeah, honestly, I don't know if I'll be going back.  I mean, I do like it to an extent, but micromanaging in games like this really isn't my thing.

Any clue if it was it ME2 - Deluxe Digital Ed for $20 from Impulse recently?
I thought that recent deal was better than the ME2 - Regular Digital Ed for $10 currently going on.

Revenge of the Titans looks totally awesome.  Just watched some YouTube on it, I'm all excited.  It's like a tower defense RTS with great retro graphics.  The monsters look like evil Pac Man ghosts crossed with Batman.

The Humble Indie Bundle 2 made over $500,000 in 24 hours. Thats almost half of what they made throughout the entire last sale ($1,273,613)! They still have 6 days to go!

And Notch of Minecraft fame is the current highest donator.
