a mate of mine who has been in bands since forever, has finally gotten the ep out for his latest thing, and things are looking quite promising as far as the media and other (much bigger) bands noticing them.

so yeah, i thought i'd share, since a few of you may dig it. you should check it for no other reason than to hear his monsterous kit:

Not bad.  A little too much on the wannabe-Opeth end, but the heavy stuff is fairly compelling.  Not a bad listen at all.  Bit weird for me right now, though... I'm coming off a two-week ISIS binge.  I haven't detoxed yet.
