36 bucks.  Best thing about it is that you can get it as an online code.  (If you go for this, make sure to click on that option.)  Pay, see code, enter code on Xbox, renewal date gets bumped 12 months.  I love it when things are simple, and cheap.

Story on joystiq

Oh yeah, newegg is matching it.  I imagine that's equally simple, but haven't tried it.

I should probably do this.  But it's hard to jump when you've got a year and a half of service left.  Seems like it goes on sale quite often.  3 bucks a month, COMPLETELY worth it.

Mine was due in April, so I did jump on it.  I was thinking of letting it lapse back to Silver, but then I got Forza 4, which I'm still heavily into, 4 months later.  That game would get hamstrung without Gold.
