The Sims 4: Digital Upgrade (DLC) on Origin = FREE with Promo Code SIMSUPGRADE.

You can even add this to your Origin account even if you DO NOT own The Sims 4 base-game!!!
You might as well do it, just in case you get Sims 4 later.

If you already own Sims 4 - go grab this free upgrade! What are you waiting for?

Read Only Memories is 41% off on itch.io, making it $8.84. $14.47 gets you an art book PDF and soundtrack as well as the game.

It's a point and click cyberpunk adventure. Reminds me a lot of Snatcher, but not as dark. Can check out a demo on the site there. Protip: interact with everything multiple times. There is usually more than one string of dialog for any action. Especially do this with the chair at the bar.

Xbox Live Black Friday deals Nov 24-30. Starts on Nov 20 if you've got XBL Gold. 40-60% off, up to 10% more if you're Gold.

New deals next weekend (Nov 27th). "with huge savings on games like Witcher 3, Rare Replay, Destiny: The Taken King and more."

I could list them all here, but it's a big list and the blog post already links to the store pages for your locale. It also tells you which 360 games are backwards compatible.

Looking good.  Thanks!  Borderlands THC at 60% off is a definite.  I saw the bundling of FM6 and the GoW collection on the Xbox store yesterday.  That's one strange pairing.  17% off for FM6 alone isn't enough.  I do want that racer, sometime.  Halo TMC at 40% off?  Gotta think about it.

You might consider grabbing Dungeon Siege III (free the rest of the month).  This 360 game works well on the One.  I'm just getting started with it, learning the ropes.  Looks like a competent DS game so far.

Windows 10 Store has some games for 10 cents each. It's mostly mobile type games, but Hitman Go is one of the available titles and I have heard nothing but good things about it. If you have Win 10 it's probably worth your dime time.

Yeah, I picked up Hitman Go, Angry Birds Star Wars, and Gravity guy. I also grabbed Jet Pack Joyride, but that was free (I'm assuming it always is, it's got in-app-purchases).

The Neo Geo bundle is amazing and everyone should buy it. $10 for some of the best arcade games ever.

HOWEVER!

Some people do not like the emulator that it uses. I mean, as for me it doesnt even run on XP, which I only figured out after buying. But there is good news. If you look in the install directory for the game you will find a .zip file that is the ROM. Don't unzip it, just put it somewhere and you can load it up in MAME, FBA, or whatever emulator supports Neo Geo.

Now I have legal copies of these ROMs. That was totally worth the $10 to me.

This bundle's awesome.

I tossed in one penny for the first tier, for now.
If the BTA extra/unlocks are awesome next week, I'll just up it to $10 next week.
I likely don't see myself going for BTA; it's too high - you might as well go for $10.
It's gonna be either stick w/ 1st tier or upgrade to $10 for me. I have a feeling that I might $10 it next week.

I love that they have a lot of these DRM-FREE. :)
I wish there were also Steam keys for many of these, though.

Id say the BTA and top tier are worth it already. Samurai Shodown V Special has never been ported or rereleased until now. Neo Turf Masters is fantastic. Garou Mark of the Wolves and The Last Blade are some of the finest fighting games they ever put out.

It's just nice to be able to gain access to these ROMs (and neogeo bios) legally.

I wonder what will be added to the bundle next week. Some games I would love to see such as Windjammers and Magical Drop III are both Data East games and who knows who has the rights to them. Here is a list of all the NeoGeo games. I hope we get at least one puzzle game and maybe a racing game like Overtop.

So, in your opinion - and anyone else who wants to chime in here - what are the essential + best games in that list?
Keep in mind here - I've so far only did the penny in (for DRM-FREE 1st tier).

Well if you've going to beat the average to get some more games you might as well go the full $10, but I'll make the case for a few titles.

Neo Turf Masters is a really great arcade golf game that everyone should play. ON THE GREEEEEN!

The Last Blade is a weapons based fighter which seems to be sorta rare in 2D fighters. A really unique atmosphere compared to most other fighters as well. Shame Last Blade 2 wasn't included.

Metal Slug needs no explanation. 1, 3, and X are all in the upper tiers.

Real Bout Fatal Fury 2 has a cool 2 plane fighting system where you can move into the background/foreground to dodge attacks and stuff. Its neat.

Samurai Showdown V Special goes well with Samurai Shodown II because they are probably the best games in the series and have different feels. 2 has a lot of clashing swords and trying to get your hits in, and only a few hits will end a match. 5 has more 20-hit combo type fights.

Mark of the Wolves was basically SNKs answer to Street Fighter 3 with some really great animation, all still running on the same NeoGeo hardware. Just kind of nuts when you think about it.

It's a great pack of games and I hope they do more of these.

End of the year so that means GOG has some games changing.

Gearbox is taking over the Duke Nukem license so all the Duke games on GOG are being removed. They are all on sale now if you want them on your account. GOG said they are working with the new owners to bring them back as soon as they can but who knows how long or if that will happen. They are super cheap right now so grab them if you want them.

You may already have Dragonsphere on your account there. It has been free and been auto-added to peoples accounts. If not, grab it now while its still free! Starting next month it will be $5.99.

The average is so close to $10 now you may as well just go for the $10 tier.

Sucks that they are Uplay-only but Ubisoft are really pushing hard for their platform.

They're great games but I wonder why Rainbow Six 2: Rogue Spear is missing.

Square Enix is giving away Omikron: The Nomad Soul in honor of David Bowie. Follow the link, use coupon code "omikron", and it's yours. I believe it's a Steam key.

European store link. I don't think it requires a code on this one.

Consortium is free for the weekend, but once added to your account you get to keep it. I'm not even going to try attempt to explain what it is, I'll let Rock, Paper, Shotgun do that. It just sounds really interesting and I'm excited to try it out.

The Witcher 2 Assassin of Kings on Xbox 360 is FREE until Feb 5

It's also now playable on Xbox One through backwards compatibility.

I believe the is US, Canada, UK, and Germany only.
