Okay, I am damn pissed at this congestion. It is past midnight, I have to be up at 6 AM to go to workt and then I have 4.5 hours straight of classes. I haven't rested properly in 3 days... I can't even lay down or I start choking on my mucus/snot and I'm tired. Someone shoot me.

have you tried a steambath?
those help a lot..
have your shower on hot - as hot as you can handle.. and just stay there, make sure the bathroom gets all steamy. Inhale deeply, this'll loosen the mucus. I would stay in there as long as possible but NEVER get cold. As soon as you're done, dress up right away and put some socks on and then get some sleep.
gargle with warm salt water or do some hot compress if you don't want a steam bath.

You know what shit works really well for stuff like this? That Tylenol Sinus liquid with that cool burst. The nighttime version is especially effective.
