The skull-and-bones dressed-up dude reminded me of Manny from Grim Fandango.

Well, after a few matches I can say that BFH is "meh"

From a gameplay perspective it's passable at best. I mean, it's fun for a little while but it's just something to do if you have absolutely nothing else to play.

Also, it takes forever to kill anything, for example my first character is a sniper (commando) and it took me 4 headshots to kill a guy. With my soldier character it takes nearly two clips to kill an enemy, assuming he doesn't heal at all.

To put things in an analogy BFH to BF1942 is as Duplo is to Lego.

On the "business" end of things it comes off as a mega-capitalist's perversion of the Korean free-to-play business model. Basically you can use real money to purchase cosmetic and gameplay items, anything from clothes to weapons and weapon uprades. You can earn some credits (VP) by playing but these can only be used to purchase time-limited items i.e. the item will only last 7 days or 1 month depending on the number of points you trade.

It's alright considering it's free. However, compared to anything from the Asian free-to-play market it feels like a bare-minimum effort.
