It seems more problematic for people upgrading, but I've read a bunch of different stories.

You disabled the telemetry crap via what now? I need a more permanent solution for a variety of things, as Windows 10 seems to be real keen on reinstalling or reactivating shit I've disabled or even removed via registry and shit.

You can't disable the telemetry in Windows 10 unless you have the Enterprise version.
