Assuming Wired wasn't duped by The Onion (because it really is hard to believe, no?), I find that very scary.  How long until we lose that last bastion of privacy?  Imagine being forcibly or surreptitiously scanned for information.  Not your wallet, but you.  Wow.

I'll approach it from the psychological self-re-engineering angle! If they scan my brain all they'll get is a series of 1s and 0s that compile into disturbing JPEGs.
