One of the unlockable bonus songs on Guitar Hero 2 is going to be "Thunderhorse" by Dethklok!  This is so fucking awesome, I had mentioned to a friend the other day how awesome it would be to have one of their songs on one of the games.

That's fucking boss.  Do the GH games actually have any good metal?  Most of the stuff I've heard or seen in videos wasn't anything I really cared much about.  I'd be more inclined to screw around with it if there was music I was more into.

Haha, they have Suicidal Tendencies.  That's awesome.

But yeah... that's more or less what I thought it'd be.  I'm a little surprised to see Lamb of God on there, but not surprised at the same time.  They're popular despite having no talent.

They should make a death metal only edition with like... Arsis, Capharnaum, Necrophagist, Anata, Psycroptic... some good technical metal shit.  It could be the Extreme Difficulty x5 Edition.

Theres been rumors of genre specific Guitar Hero games, the devs know fans want it, so it might be in the works.  I would love to see a death metal only edition too as well.

Que you really should give the first game a try, I think you would enjoy it.

Also, besides the Dethklok song, I'm highly looking forward to playing Megadeth's "Hangar 18", I was surprised to see another song of theirs on this game in the first place.

I don't know why there aren't more.  Megadeth has a billion songs that would be great for this kind of thing.  And you know, I've always hated Danzig.  Go fig.

Anyway... I'm quite sure I'd enjoy these games, I just don't have the money or time to invest.  And, as stated, I play the guitar, so it always seems stupid to me to invest time doing this when I could be working on another composition.
