At first I had no idea who Smashmouth was, but you solved that problem for me.  Let me explain my feelings:

All Star will never be one of the better songs on ANYTHING.  You could have a CD with just that song over and over again and it still wouldn't be the best song.  I don't know how that works, but the song just sucks that goddamn bad.  Usually I think music is a subjective thing, but no; All Star being shitty is an absolute.
