Cast: Quemaqua, idolminds, K-Man
Join us as we attempt to keep Ques mind off Bioshock and fail miserably by talking about the game anyway. We then talk about other stuff while going way off topic for way too long! Followed by a segment on the handheld homebrew scene, with idol on DS and Que on PSP.

Uh, thats all for now. I've got a more in-depth DS homebrew post I'll put up next in the games section. I know there aren't any links for the news or games we're playing...so maybe they'll get edited in later. That'll give you time to listen, right? Yeah...thats a good excuse...
-
Good listening, especially all of the homebrew stuff that I will consider when I get a PSP or DS.
Also, not to be a dick, but you guys have got to cut down on the length of the podcasts if this is going to be something on the main site, I'm sure you probably know that though. I still enjoyed listening to it though.
-
Yes, we know. We're just a bunch of chatterboxes, though. Que already cut a half hour of stuff out and we lose track of time very quickly. Its something we're working on.
-
Well, whether or not we "have" to is debatable, first of all. There are other rather long podcasts out there, and I personally prefer mine as long as I can get them. However yes, we're aiming to keep the shows within an hour. We can do it, it's just still very informal, plus I'm the only guy doing logistical stuff. It'll get better as we go. Actually, before we do the next podcast I hope to have a chat session with some folks, get a few more things in order. We'll see.
But yeah, attempts will be made to ensure content is interesting and length isn't ridiculous. This one was really sort of a fluke. I thought I was watching the time and it just turned out that I was wrong about when we started.
-
This is utter genius. "I hate kids." "Me too. Does that make us old?"
By the way, Que, that censoring bleep you use is kind of painful on the ears. Just sayin'.
-
Yeah? I'll track down something better. You're the second person to tell me that. I don't know why, I always sort of liked it.
-
To go with what Que said, two of my favorite podcasts (GFW Radio and 1UP Your) are both usually 2 hours long.
-
Gamers With Jobs also tend to have really long shows.

Oh well, now that I know that, it doesn't seem as bad. Most of the podcasts I have listened to are in the 30-45 min range.
-
Wow, my mic was much more Ghetto than I thought.
-
Other than the homebrew stuff, what else did you guys talk about? I don't have a DS or a PSP.
-
I havent had a chance to listen since its been edited, but we did some Bioshock talk and then went into a little talk about Nintendo and the Wiis unexpected popularity.
-
Yeah, mostly just that and a couple of news items. This one is definitely more specialized than some of our others, though personally I still think it's interesting just to hear what's out there (I don't have a DS either, much less a homebrew-capable one).
-
Speaking of the unexpected popularity of the Wii, I just heard last night on Attack of the Show that the Wii is now the number one console worldwide.
-
I found an error in what I said. At the start, that crazy music is not Tetris, but Wizardry (http://www.geocities.com/wizardrygame/pages/w1/wizardry.mid).
