What are your favorite candies?
« on: Thursday, October 31, 2013, 03:04:05 PM »
In the spirit of Halloween, of course.

Me? I love me some Skittles. And Starbursts. And Gob Stoppers. And Reeces anything (or anything with peanut butter in it). Runts are pretty good except fuck the banana ones.

EDIT - Peanut M&Ms! How could I forget?

Reese's Peanut Butter Cups are probably my favorite.  I used to buy those large Symphony bars with the toffee flakes in them, too.

Occasionally I'll get a Ghiardelli dark chocolate/sea salt bar.  Some fancy pants chocolate company makes chili chocolate bars too.  Those are incredibly good.

I rarely eat sweets at all. Do love PB cups a bunch when I get them, but I'm spoiled on getting them from Spiral Diner. They make them ridiculously huge, like 3 times the size of a Reese's at least, and they're just so ungodly good.

My wife and I are in the midst of lifestyle changes that have resulted in each of us losing 20 lbs.  I've had zero problems up until the other day, when Beth brought home a bag of assorted Reese's candy to hand out for Halloween.  Those peanut butter cups sit there and I just can't stand it.

I manage to refrain from eating more than 2 in a sitting, though.  Used to I'd have no problem blowing through half a bag of snack size.

Halloween, Round 2 here tonight.  In Cincy, they didn't postpone it because of the nasty weather last night.  But here in Lawrenceburg, they did.  It's going to be hard staying away from this bag of Reeses cups Sandy & I just got, along with assorted other chocolate goodies.

Also speaking of fancy pants chocolate, Mast Brothers chocolate here in Brooklyn is the bomb... and check out those beards.
