I updated your Impulse link to the actual Impulse Buys page that shows the weekend deals.
I'd be tempted to get Killing Floor for $5. But...Steam.
PS, Steam is "stupid ass DRM bullshit", thank you very much.
I know theres all kinds of DRM, I just don't understand why Steam itself isn't considered as such. I've had more trouble with it than any other form of DRM I've had to deal with.I consider Steam DRM - you damn right I do! Even worse when they packages Steamworks DRM + additional 3rd party DRM.
(yes, I'm bitchy because I would love to buy a whole bunch of games for cheap)
Wow. I was just playing the demo for "Trine". it's awesome!
I bought Riddick, Lead & Gold, and 2 DLC for borderlands (Mad Moxxi and General Knoxx).
Fuck. I just bought the Serious Sam HD set for $7.50.I bought SS HD Double Pack yesterday, too.
Fuck yes. Lead and Gold have dedicated servers yet?Pretty sure I read that they added them in the latest update.
You left out L4D2 for $10.
Borderlands worth getting?
Purchased!Did you get the Borderlands DLC's?
Favorite of 2009 eh? You must have missed "Demon's Souls"
It's going to take a while to download. Going to play Torchlight in the mean time. It has been a good week!
So, I really like Borderlands, but it runs so bad on my computer. This is the first time it's actually shown it's age to me. Makes me sad. I guess I did build it like 4 or 5 years ago. I see an upgrade in the near future, as soon as I get some coin.
Windows 7Did you turn off Depth of Field?
Intel Core Duo 2 @2.13 GHz
2GB Ram
Geforce 7950 GT
I've turned everything down to low, and I'm running it at 1024x768
I mean, it's playable, but when there are 3 or more things on the screen at once it gets bogged down quite a bit.
Yeah. Everything is on low, dynamic shadows is disabled, and depth of field is off.Wow...I figure your PC should be running BL around what mine has for settings...
So, I just figured it out. Had to restart the game for some of my settings to take affect...heh.Oh, yeah...that does help! :)
It's running way better now. I was actually able to set my texture quality to medium, and it runs pretty good. A little bit of slow down here and there, but not nearly as bad as it was. Just wish I could run it at a higher res.Glad it runs better now. I figured it should, given your specs.

Yeah. I was thinking about dropping some money into it. Most cards I see are PCIe 2.0. Don't think my board supports that. I dunno, haven't done to much research or looking yet.
Your system is pretty similar to mine except I run XP and an 8800GT. I pretty much max out Borderlands without issue.
I think they only PC Star Wars game I would be interested in picking up on Steam is Jedi Outcast, and that's not even there.Yeah it is! (http://store.steampowered.com/app/6030/) Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy are on there with the Star Wars pack!
Batman: AA - GOTY Edition is 66% off on Steam currently.
Well, that's what I've been waiting for. While I'd rather have a disc or something, it;s hard to beat the fact that it's half the price of everywhere less (and finally less than $30 anywhere).

I was going through THQ's catalog, trying to figure out what game was going to be on sale next. I was hoping for Metro2033, but thought it was going to be the final item, since it is the latest THQ title on Steam.
So yea, very excited when I logged into Steam today. I bought it in an instant.
Picked up Metro 2033 as well, theres also a big Halloween sale on Steam, lots of stuff I'm really tempted to grab like the Ghostbusters game, RE5, and Amnesia.
I always wondered how I'd spend the odd 10 microsoft points I have left over on my account. This deal officially remedied that.
Indie Story Pack (http://store.steampowered.com/sub/6790/) On steam.I got it, amazing deal!
And Yet It Moves, Gish, Jolly Rover, Puzzle Agent, and Recettear in one pack, only $5 right now. Recettear alone is worth like...30 times that much.

Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light = $7.49
Today's 99 cent deal on Viva Pinata is worth every penny. Loved that game.Updated opening post w/ that deal.
Today's 99 cent deal on Viva Pinata is worth every penny. Loved that game.
You might have just sold me.
How much of a hassle is it to buy through g4wl?
I eventually gave up on VP because of the intense micromanagement needed, so much that I couldn't dedicate enough attention to expanding and improving the garden. Maybe I gave up too soon; don't know. Gpw's experience sounds very familiar.
Stardock... those fuckers. They have been pushing ME2 hard for the last month and I'm pretty sure Jennie already got it for me when they were selling it for $20.
Yeah, there's a few things I'll probably pick up when I get home. Super Meat Boy, The new top down Tomb Raider, and the Oddbox. I'll be keeping my eyes open for the daily deals. Fingers crossed for New Vegas.Well, New Vegas is currently at 25% off at ~$38.
Well, New Vegas is currently at 25% off at ~$38.
Well, New Vegas is currently at 25% off at ~$38.
The F.E.A.R. pack is tempting at $9, because I want F.E.A.R. 2. Hmmm. Actually F.E.A.R. 2 can be had alone for $5. Hmmmm. $5 for something I will play, or $10 for something I will play + stuff I've already paid for in CD form. It appeals to the collector side of me... but I may just go for F.E.A.R. 2 alone.G4WL a few weeks ago had FEAR 2: Complete Edition [FEAR 2 + Reborn DLC] for $4.99.
Man I wish Steam treated me better. They have awesome sales.
You know, I just realized the Forgotten Sands for $5 isn't a bad deal on Steam either. I am considering.I have it.. I got Forgotten Sands a while back. It's much more tolerable now but it still occasionally pauses midgame to try to reconnect to the Ubi server.. Bear in mind I have a 30Mbps connection and that shit still happens.
Oh shit, I forgot:
Ubisoft’s Online Services Platform. Ubisoft requires a permanent Internet connection to play this video game at all times.
Just wondering... how bad is it? Anyone on that thing yet?
Yea I finally jumped on the Witcher with this deal, I really have no reason to hold out any longer.
Mount & Blade: Warband (http://impulsedriven.com/mbwarband) is $7.49 on Impulse.
Not available in my region.. Which also marks the first time that Steam has given me a region issue.
$7.50 for Alpha Protocol? Hmm, personally I'd rather spend that $7.50 on chicken wings, and I don't like chicken wings!
New Vegas is now $30, if anyone wants to get on that.
Well, I got FO3 GOTY a few days ago, so I bought NW for $25 just now.I think Fallout: New Vegas is the better game of the two in many ways, actually - especially since there's been a bunch of patches released that have an extensive amount of fixes.
Not bad for a game I didn't like.
Xessive and I were quite disappointed. We were expecting new stuff.
Are you serious? You haven't gotten that game yet? It has been on sale more times than it has been at regular price. :P
Brotherhood of Steel. Continues the story, allows open-ended play after the storyline is complete and raises the level cap from 20 to 30.
Is there any way to check if the DLC has kicked in?If I recall you normally get messages to your Pipboy.. However, I think with Broken Steel you have to wait till you finish the game to get the message. Alternatively, when you level up take a look at the Perks, if you can see any that require you to be above level 20, then you know Broken Steel is active since it raises the level cap from 20 to 30.
I don't think I've gotten any message to my pipboy. Please contact your service provider.
Wow, GTA4 Complete is a great deal, too bad it's not available in my region.
Also, today's Indie deal is Arcadia for $1.70

What's the word on Arcadia? It's not bad but it's basically a cheap knock-off of Geometry Wars with no gamepad support, only mouse+kb controls.
So Steam said I could have a refund... but my purchase is tied to three other games and they can't (or won't) separate them. I can get a refund for everything but I'll have to buy the other stuff back at full price instead of the rad sale prices.Dude wanted a refund for the Oddworld games since they were so buggy. Its rare that Steam will ever grant refunds, but its a good thing to keep in mind that they will only undo the entire transaction and not just a single game.
So Just Add Water keeps another unwilling customer. I hope this patch is a good one.
In related news, I'll be buying all of my future Steam games in single transactions instead of groups.
God damn it!! Motherfluffing piece of crap regional restrictions!!!! It's the F'ing Internet!!!
Oh, man - that really sucks. :(Yeah, this geographic discrimination is getting infuriating.
From experience, I remember if a game isn't available in your region, you can't be gifted it either.Yeah, I was aiming for the better offer on Impulse.. Damn it..
The strange thing is that the game is available on Steam.
How about a VPN?Trying but unfortunately my ISP has intentionally blocked all access to VPN services. My only alternative is get someone to rent a VPN service for me then give me the Proxy data.
STEAM - Dead Space WeekendI'm getting $10.20 and original price $29.99. Regional crap again?
Dead Space = $6.80 [66% off its usual $19.99 price-tag]
Pre-Order Dead Space 2 from Steam, get 75% off Dead Space 1 instead.
Thanks for the alert D.
GoG has Kings Bounty for $2.50 (http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/king%E2%80%99s_bounty_the_legend)
Kane & Lynch: Dead Men = $4.99
Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days = $4.99
K&L2: Alliance Weapon Pack DLC = 74 cents
K&L2: Multiplayer Masks Pack DLC = 49 cents
K&L2: Doggie Bag DLC = $1.49
Seems sort of expensive
Approximately $13 for a complete series is expensive? :o
Steam -> Braid PC = $2.99 for their Midweek Madness Sale.Bulletstorm for $60?! I just picked it up retail for $44! I thought it was supposed to be $50 normally. I feel better.
G4WL -> Buy BulletStorm PC ($59.99), get Gears of War PC for FREE.
Bulletstorm for $60?! I just picked it up retail for $44! I thought it was supposed to be $50 normally. I feel better.
Dang, I thought that was just with Ubisoft titles. Many Activision titles - especially from Blizzard or under the COD Tag - retail for $60 USD here, too.
IGN has a download store?
Hey everyone, there was a typo in the Oddboxx bundle competition. "One of" fell out and it was supposed to be one of those who guessed it correctly that will win the game. But since there was so many of you doing the guessing we will be giving away 10 copies! Sorry about the typo, and feel free to keep your guesses coming in the post further down on the competition post on this wall!Sucks, but can't say I blame them considering the number of responses they got. "If it sounds too good to be true..."
Thanks to everyone who took part in the competition. Oddboxx is on sale at 50% so check it out! Because of a typo in the competition post some might have believed we'd make everyone that commented a winner. Sorry about that! Be nice to Rod, he's new. Okay? :) To make up, here is a discount code that gives an extra 25% off the already low price: "ODDBOXX25". Enter it at checkout when buying The Oddboxx within 24 hrs!
Amazon has 3D Dot Game Heroes on sale for $16.68. (http://www.amazon.com/3D-Dot-Game-Heroes-Playstation-3/dp/B002I0J45C/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1302201207&sr=8-1) Great deal on a fun game for anyone who doesn't own it yet.

RPS (http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2011/04/08/reign-conflict-of-nations-free-cheap-stuff/) gives instructions on acquiring Reign: Conflict of Nations for free on Green Man Gaming.
Wait, what?! How can they not contain multiplayer?! It was in the base games! Why would they go through all the trouble to actively remove them?I never used MP in DS1 and 2.
Apparently GasPoweredGames shut down their multiplayer service: GPGNet. That could have something to do with it. Although that wouldn't explain why they'd remove LAN.Okay, that makes some sense - for DS1.
Wow, shit. I didnt get the last 2 DLC but I could rebuy the whole mess for less. But...Steam! ARG! DAMN YOUS!
Heh. Figures.
Well, I guess if I'm going to go digital these days I'd still rather go Steam. If it was for the discs, well, then I might be more upset.
In other news, Global Agenda is now Global Agenda: Free Agent and is free-to-play!
So get on it! ;D
Individual copy of Portal 2 is 20% off today! (http://store.steampowered.com/app/620/)
At least that's how it's showing up for me! It could have something to do with the Potato Sack.
GTA IV: Complete 75% off on Steam ($9.99) (http://store.steampowered.com/sale/rockstarweekend)Nice deal.
PS, that Direct2Drive coupon code BUNNY actually works for...uh...everything it seems. You could preorder The Witcher 2 Premium for $33.71.Like it said - ANY ORDER over $19.95. :P
The D2D deals can sometimes be pretty impressive, sadly they also have very tight regional restrictions.I really like D2D. They've been pretty good - especially the last few years or so, since they trying to compete w/ Steam.

Steam - EA Deal Of The Day - Dead Space DayWow, your prices are different.. For me it's showing Dead Space 1 for $7.50 and Dead Space 2 for $35.
Dead Space 1 = $4.99
Dead Space 2 = $23.99
Wow, your prices are different.. For me it's showing Dead Space 1 for $7.50 and Dead Space 2 for $35.
Are their sales different in different regions? So far the EA Week prices have all been different. I've noticed also some normal game prices are different between regions. Of course certain games' availability vary as well.
Damnit, why didn't Steam do this?Damned if I know. *shrug*

ShockedFish (http://shockedfish.com/) is a cool site. Search for the game you want and it will tell you the DD service that has it cheapest (as well as listing the prices at all the others). No more going to each site to find the best deal.
Still Life (http://store.steampowered.com/app/46480/?snr=1_4_4__105) and Still Life 2 (http://store.steampowered.com/app/46490/?snr=1_4_4__105) have been added to Steam's library of games, currently selling at 20% off each ($7.99 each). The major advantage is that these versions will not be sporting the ol' StarForce DRM.
Thief: Deadly Shadows = $5 on Steam.Lame, that was the daily deal yesterday! I was looking forward to a different Midweek Madness Deal!! Well, the Weekend Deal is on the way.
Telltale (http://www.telltalegames.com/store/) is going to celebrate their 7th anniversary with a 75% off sale of (almost) everything in their store! June 6th-30th. Apparently the only things that don't apply are the BTTF series and Puzzle Agent 2.
I'm going to stock up on this stuff. Aww yeah.
EDIT
Despite what the banner says, the sale is on NOW! Add stuff to the cart and see how cheap it all is. All 3 seasons of Sam & Max for $12.50! Hector Episode 1 is $2.50! It even works for shirts and other merchandise. I grabbed the BTTF card game for $5. ($4 shipping, but whatever)

Bought The Witcher 2, Transformers, AC2 so far.
I'm considering the Bionic Commando games and Alpha Protocol. Yay or nay?I have yet to try Bionco Commando [Reboot].
Also, mount and blade
Picked up FO3 GOTY, I've been wanting that on PC for awhile now.I did, as well - since I was missing all that FO3 DLC.
It's tough to ignore a fantastic bargain. That's my problem, too...hehe.
Last day of the Steam sale. Grabbed DoW2: Retribution for $7.49, woot.
Wow, so they did. I lucked the fuck out.You sure did. :)
I spent a lot of money in this sale. I picked up Portal 2 and Just Cause 2 today.
Have you started playing yet? I'm only a few hours in, but my impression is this: the story is bad. The voice acting is terrible. But I'm really enjoying the gameplay. It feels like a lower budget game, but it gets all of the important things right.Kinda.. I mean it's like a B-movie with entertaining action sequences. JC2 is not a game you'll play for story, it's a massive sandbox that will let you play with its toys as you please. The grappling hook is so much fun! Just remembering all things you can attach together with hilarious results!

Wow. Darksiders at $5. It's retarded not to get it at that price, for those who haven't already.
Damn, if I hadn't already pre-ordered DX:HR that would be a fantastic deal.
For $28.80 for a pre-order, that's ridiculously cheap for a new game...
Okay okay okay. Can someone explain how this is going to work if I buy the game through GMG? Like, am I actually going to have to install a new client or will I just be able to load it up through Steam?Yeah, just register the key GMG gives you in an e-mail the day of the game's release and plug that into Steam.

They do give you the keys to the games, but I'm pretty sure the GTA games can't be registered on Steam unless you buy it directly from there.
Boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.GTA games [GTA 3 up to EFLC] are on Steam.
I'm a Steam whore and I don't buy games that aren't on it any more.

Well, the end times are upon us. Stardock is now releasing games on Steam. Sins of a Solar Empire: Trinity (http://store.steampowered.com/app/201290/) is first, 25% off launch price.Steam-sold versions often sell VERY WELL. Big user-base, lots of sales. Money talks.
I know that. It just feels...weird.Y'know what would feel really weird? If it crops up on Origin. That would be like creating a paradox!
Y'know what would feel really weird? If it crops up on Origin. That would be like creating a paradox!
Country restricted. WTF!Yeah D2D does that to me, that's why I stopped bothering with them.
Is it just me or is it a lot harder to see all the deals this time? The layout they've had for Steam sales before was perfect, but this time it seems like I have to actually think of a game and go to it to see if it's on sale (aside from the main attractions for the day).I can see the Daily Deals all pretty well here on 1980x1020.
I can see the Daily Deals all pretty well here on 1980x1020.
About finding what OTHER games are on sale - those are a pain in the ass.
So, click on the Publisher links below the Daily Deals. That's the best way to see what OTHER stuff is on sale, besides the daily deals.
They're situated quite well under their specific publisher.
The bottom only displays 100 games on the "Specials" list - which is NOT everything on SALE!
I don't know how most people play this game here w/ Steam, but I will buy ONLY ALL Daily Deals that hit my interest until The Final Day. On final day, any OTHER STUFF that doesn't make it to the Daily Deal, I then will hit those up that I think are worthy of their Non-Daily Deal sale prices.
Examples:
I want FONV - Lonesome Road DLC, which is listed on Steam for $5 for this entire sale. I'm hoping it hits a Daily Deal and beats that $5 price, before Monday. If it doesn't go below $5 on a Daily Day, I might buy it on the final day at $5.
I want RAGE, which is $45 currently on Steam. I'm waiting and hoping it hits a Steam Daily Deal, hopefully for a $25-30 or less deal. Most places this week have already had it on sale for $30 [Direct2Drive, Target] or will have Rage PC Retail for $30 when Black Friday hits [Amazon].
Holy shit, I want both of those at that price. But I don't want to install Origin.I had to DL and install it via Origin.
Haha awesome avatar, D :PThought you'd like it. ;)
How much is Arkham City selling for? It isn't fucking available for my region. Neither on Steam nor on Origin.
I've found the Steam holiday sale really underwhelming this year.I think found the Steam sales underwhelming b/c I own many of the games that have been on sale already. Otherwise, I'd probably have been all over some of those deals.
Last year was amazing for me. I think it is because I own the good deals... but still.I've already bought a lot of the good deals in the past, as well - whether from Steam, Amazon DL, Gamersgate, Origin, or elsewhere.
I've found the Steam holiday sale really underwhelming this year.Yeah, I was wondering if it was just because I've been spoiled by previous sales or it was really a "meh" sale this Christmas.
Figured I ought to add this to the Deals thread:
Alan Wake on GreenManGaming (http://www.greenmangaming.com/promo/awake/): get 33% off with voucher HALFT-ERMHO-RRORS
Just do add to the GoG D&D sale, its buy one get one free PLUS you get a free copy of Temple of Elemental Evil if you don't already own it. Which is pretty kickass. Thanks for the additional info.
LA Noire Complete (http://www.greenmangaming.com/games/adventure/la-noire-the-complete-edition/): $10 on Greenmangaming
D didnt mention, or maybe it just went on sale, but GamersGate also has Blood Bowl Legendary Edition (http://www.gamersgate.com/DD-BBLE/blood-bowl-legendary-edition) for $10.
Dead Island (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16832220034) is back in stock at Newegg and back down to $10 with free shipping. I scored one this time.
Awesome game - and worth every penny.Yeah dont worry, Ill have that taken care of.
Though, PC version requires Steam, though...and I know how much you hate Steam...
D that's awesome.C&P from CAG Boards, yes.
You cut and pasted these right? You didn't write this all out yourself?
Yea, The Darkness 2 for $12.50 is really tempting.Yea, you ain't freakin' kiddin'....
We believe that developers should have the freedom to price their games how they like, without interference from the online stores that sell the games. Why? Because it allows us to promote our games more freely, as we are doing here! We rely on the ability to promote our games for our livelihood and control over pricing is an important tool for this purpose.
For the last week of May (May 24 through June 1) our games will be deeply discounted to celebrate online stores that give us control over pricing: The App Store, Google Play, Steam, and a few others.

Disciples II Gold Edition (http://www.greenmangaming.com/s/us/en/pc/games/strategy/disciples-ii-gold-edition/) is free on Green Man Gaming.
Btw, for those who grabbed Disciples II Gold on GMG you can actually trade it for $5 value (you can get $5 off any GMG purchase if you trade it in). Basically GMG just gave you $5 credit! Wooh!
Yeah, I tried it.. Don't get it.. Not my kinda game anyway. I'm still trying to grasp Might & Magic Heroes VI and that's the "simple" one.Hehe, I still ain't installed Disciples II: Gold [from Retail discs].
On the bright side I got $5 out of it.Wo0t!!!
I dont know where else to put this, but some GoG.com updates.Nice!
First, you can now register your copy of The Witcher with GoG to get their DRM free version, just like they did with Witcher 2. Pretty sweet. Speaking of Witcher 2 they have it 40% off.
New releases are Colonization, Tomb Raider 1, 2, and 3, and a preorder for Retro City Rampage. Apparently they packaged the TR games with a Glide wrapper to get the nice looking 3dfx effects. I'm interested now.

Steam summer sale started. So, go look.
GreenManGamingSonuvabitch!! I just bought Guild Wars 2 DDE for full price
Use code COSYO-UDIDN-TGET1 for 20% off any game, stacks with Winter sale items.
All prices below are BEFORE using above said coupon, unless otherwise noted
The Last Remnant -> req. Steam = $3.74
GreenManGamingNice! Haha "USE IT ON CLAPTRAP" nice voucher code :P
You can also use code PARTP-ALCNO-TIESU for 20% off, this code can be used on multiple orders, does not stack with other codes.
Borderlands 2 = $49.99 (Steamworks); use one of the voucher codes to get it for $40.
Steam has a Quakecon bundle this weekend. ncludes lots of id/Bethesda stuff. All included items seem to be on sale individually too. I just picked up the Heretic/Hexen pack (Heretic, Hexen, Deathkings of the Dark Citadel, and Hexen 2) for $7.49.
Yep, as long s you're on my buddy list I can gift anything I can buy to you. Just like on Steam.I bought Sacred 2: Gold Edition over GG UK for $8.14 USD, after conversion fees - not bad at all for a HARD game to find.
Greed: Black Border is free on Green Man Gaming today. Offer expires at 1100 UTC, should still have a few hours to grab it.

Assassins Creed 1 for free! (http://shop.ubi.com/store/ubina/en_US/pd/productID.180123700) from the Ubistore.
I feel like thats a piece of meat with all sorts of bear traps surrounding it.hahaha I know.... it isn't often anyone would turn down a free game. :)
Might be noteworthy that this offer was only available to US customers.
Speaking of Ubisoft, that free copy of Assassins Creed 1 was a mistake. I got an email telling me so and that my key is being revoked. Though they are giving me a 50% off coupon for anything in the store (except preorders).Lame. It's not like you got a free copy of Assassin's Creed 3 or Far Cry 3 by accident, you got a promotional offer on an old game and now they're being dicks about it. This is inching closer to being a legitimate reason to just pirate the game. Tell them to keep the coupon because you're not interested in buying any Ubisoft games based on their behaviour.
Yeah, that's sort of crap. Game is old as crap now, if it really was a mistake... why not just run with it?It's an opportunity for good PR. Well, about as good as Ubi can get at this point.

Man, screw EA and their North-America-only agenda!
What?!?!Nope.. Gamersgate has two websites www.gamersgate.com and www.gamersgate.co.uk your access to stuff is dependant on your region. For example from my region I cannot access EA titles on the .com site but I can see them on the .co.uk site (without the offers). People in the US won't be able to see EA titles on the .co.uk site.
These EA deals ain't worldwide...?
GreenManGamingNice. It's an interesting offer structure for a digital store. I wonder if Steam will have a counter offer :P

I guess the title is self explanatory
Kovi Nov 22, 2012 @ 4:50am
Yes, those who bought the game directly from us will get their Steam keys automatically, those that bought the game on GOG.com will have to send us an e-mail request for it.
Wow. That is a horrendous fucking abuse of DLC.
Steam has some good deals today. Hitman Absolution is 50% off, so $24.99. Batman Arkham City GOTY Edition is $7.49.
I've picked up Hitman; deciding if I want to pick up Batman considering the limited time I have to play it at this point.
I mentioned above that I'm in Canada; I can't use Amazon's download service.Oh, that bites. :(
Pack contains:
Brink Complete Pack
Dishonored™
DOOM 3 BFG Edition
Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition
Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition
Hunted: The Demon’s Forge™
RAGE
Rogue Warrior
The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind® Game of the Year Edition
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion® Game of the Year Edition Deluxe
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Walking Dead is 50% off as well in a flash deal.
These holiday sales are terrible for one's wallet.
Actually, I just found a loophole for that. If you add an address to your list that is in the States (I think you have to set it as your default) it will allow you to buy Amazon Downloads! With EA titles you can just take the key and add it to Origin.
The one caveat is that when you purchase anything on the US store you have to pay taxes.
Already grabbed it for ya!
I don't know if the loophole is closed or what, but this isn't working for me. And I really want to buy this:
http://www.amazon.com/Sega-Dreamcast-Pack-Download/dp/B00AEV8K7A
I may just get an American to help me out here and paypal them the money in exchange for the Steam codes. OH HI AMERICANS! Who wants to help me out?
Already grabbed it for ya!
I'll send you the codes when I get home ;) Merry Christmas!
Scribblenauts for PC is out now in North America.Damn it! Thanks for the clarification, W7RE.
In Europe, it's being delayed to release alongside the Wii U version.

Miasmata was on the flash sale for 50% off, I didnt grab it then. An hour later when I was ready to get it, the steam store goes down. Can't excess it on steam or the website. Coincidence?Dun dun dun! *cue footage of guinea pig* Coincidence? I think NOT!
Dark Void Zero = $125
Damn that's expensive! Must be a rare find these days!
Pretty nice bundle on Amazon.Awesome deal! Thanks for the head's-up on it, bro! I had a $5 coupon that was expiring on 31 Jan! Glad I could find a use for it ;)

Individual prices:
DEADLIGHT $3.75

I don't know if the thread title here is old or not, but everyone NEEDS to pick up alpha protocol for $3
Does Gamersgate have a client like Steam? DRM? Can you redownload games again later?
The only digital sites I've used for games have been GOG and Steam (and an Amazon purchase that gave me a Steam key).

Kudos to you for providing the full listing details! It is an awesome package. I grabbed it too despite already owning Alan Wake and American Nightmare on Steam.
I wonder if they will do the same on GOG. Not like anyone is going to buy it anymore if its free on Steam. Must suck for the people that bought it in the GOG sale last week.
I have an extra Steam key for Ticket to Ride if anyone is interested.

Interestingly, EA is not collecting any money from this. The only sliders are charity and Humble tip.Just noticed that too. EA being good? All the more impressive to me.

Games With Gold is has expanded to Xbox One. If you have Gold, you can grab the games even if you don't own a One yet. Just use the links to the web store. Xbox One games require that you have Gold to play them, just like PS+. Hopefully this leads to a better selection than we've had on Xbox 360 so far. For Xbox 360 games you just have to have Gold when you "buy" the game.

Bioshock 2 is the better-playing game. Infinite has the better setting and story, up till the weirdo ending anyway. Don't miss either, if you liked Bioshock.
Bioshock 2 plays better than Infinite? ...how? I know they're not made by the same devs, but I would have assumed the improvements in 2 would be looked at during development of Infinite, especially considering reviewers cited 2 as playing better. (I've only played Bioshock 1 and Minerva's Den for 2 btw, and not touched Infinite.)Bioshock 2 has double-wielding in your control schemes. Makes things A LOT easier and faster, gameplay-wise. Plus, you have more enemy types than you did in the original game, as well - which makes the gameplay more fun. Plus, you have defense-type of sections, when dealing w/ the Little Sisters. Though, Bioshock 2's story is nowhere as great as Bioshock 1 + Infinite. Though, I do highly recommend you take on Minerva's Den DLC, as it's actually MUCH better story-wise + MUCH more personal than Bioshock 2 base-game by a mile. Minerva's Den retains the Bioshock 2 type of gameplay, but it's the much improved story, characters, and narrative that make it great.

I forgot I had talked about this in here. Thanks for answering W7RE's question, D. That's pretty much how I feel. I'll just add that I expected more from Infinite, being the supposed culmination of the series and all. Yet I felt it was the weakest in terms of gameplay. The vigors just didn't stand up to the plasmids, particularly those in the second game. Infinite felt more like a corridor shooter than the earlier games. That's ironic, considering the claustrophobic nature of the first 2 games, and the wide-open sky in Infinite.
Don't have Starcraft 2? Do you want Starcraft 2? Well then you can buy Starcraft 2 direct from Blizzard (https://us.battle.net/shop/en/product/game/starcraft) for $9. That expansion for Starcraft 2? Also $9.
Starcraft 2.
System Shock 2 is 99 cents on Steam.

Remember though they are going to be releasing a new version of it next year. No word on what sort of upgrade path will be available.
Halo is shown as a weekend deal on the image I linked above. From reading elsewhere, its price never dropped. So probably Friday/Saturday for Halo, Shadow of Mordor season pass, Killer Instinct, and The Walking Dead season 1 & 2 bundle.
EDIT: I see multiple replies from XboxSupport on twitter saying Lords of the Fallen is not part of the sale. Though the latest one says "Looks like Lords of the Fallen is not available on the sale at this time. We're looking into it though." Which sounds like they're not sure. I wouldn't expect support to really know about it though, they're probably just checking the current price and not seeing it discounted, then saying "it's not part of the sale".
Yea, I actually picked up LotF for $9, and I know others did too. The link that leaked early did have some of the games listed as weekend deals, but LotF was not one of them. It was listed under "Ultimate Value Deals" at 85% off for Gold members.

If Amazon DVG is selling a Steam-version, when you buy that version - you must take the key and register it onto Steam to tie it to your Steam account.
I don't know if they sell the DRM-FREE version anymore (they used to quite a bit back, since that's what I have from them).
Yea, I actually had my brother buy it for me, since my account was low and I didn't want to miss the deal. I just had him send me the Steam keys, I had no idea if there was a DRM free version or not, I didn't actually check.

Ubisoft (http://shop.ubi.com/store/ubina/en_US/html/pbPage.WITCHER48HR/) has kind of a crazy deal on Witcher 3. $60 for Witcher 3 (GOG key) and in addition you get 4 games: Assassins Creed Black Flag, Child of Light, The Crew, and Watch Dogs.

Hey! Thanks for checking out Stealth Inc 2. This FREE stuff is available until September 14, 2015 at 10am Pacific. Afterwards it all disappears, so make sure to grab your Steam key and downloads now!Registering the key on Steam will permanently add it to your Steam account, but it seems if you want the DRM-free version you better download it and back it up because it sounds like they will take them off your Humble account. Windows 10 Store (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/store/games/windows) has some games for 10 cents each. It's mostly mobile type games, but Hitman Go is one of the available titles and I have heard nothing but good things about it. If you have Win 10 it's probably worth yourdimetime.

If you didn't buy 3D Realms Anniversary Bundle on Steam (which is soon getting de-listed from Steam)....That is a badass bundle!
That HUGE 3DR Pack is ALSO in BundleStars Killer Bundle 6 w/ some other games for $5:
https://www.bundlestars.com/en/bundle/killer-bundle-6
This bundle's awesome.
I tossed in one penny for the first tier, for now.
If the BTA extra/unlocks are awesome next week, I'll just up it to $10 next week.
I likely don't see myself going for BTA; it's too high - you might as well go for $10.
It's gonna be either stick w/ 1st tier or upgrade to $10 for me. I have a feeling that I might $10 it next week.
I love that they have a lot of these DRM-FREE. :)
I wish there were also Steam keys for many of these, though.
The Witcher 2 Assassin of Kings on Xbox 360 is FREE until Feb 5 (http://marketplace.xbox.com/Product/The-Witcher-2-Assassins-of-Kings/66acd000-77fe-1000-9115-d80257520824)

I believe the is US, Canada, UK, and Germany only.

Hey, W7RE, don't miss Styx: Master of Shadows. This is a surprisingly good stealth game, despite a low budget, and free right now with Gold on XBL.

Humble Monthly Bundle (https://www.humblebundle.com/monthly) this next month will be pretty cool. Buy it now ($12, but by buying the last bundle I got a coupon making it $10.80) and get Rocket League right away. Thats half off the regular price, plus I'd be getting whatever other games end up being part of the bundle that releases early next month. I may just bite on this one.
Holy **** did anyone spot this?!
https://www.gog.com/game/star_wars_shadows_of_the_empireLike yourself "Whatever" at what Disney considers canon and non-canon.
Shadows of the Empire is on GOG.com for PC!
Ok, so it hasn't aged well but this is an iconic Star Wars game from the N64. Even though Disney now considers it non-canon, whatever, it was awesome.
The soundtrack alone is worth that much. Beautiful string quartet led by Ben Houge. No arguments there, Que.
Wait.. EA game on the ubisoft store, what?
I can't get Forza Horizon to work on my Xbox One.. By the way, I got an Xbox One S..
Every time I load it up it asks me to sign in. I hit Sign in, it then asks to "download profile" I agree and it sits there for a minute trying to connect. It inevitably fails with an error message "unable to connect to Xbox Live service" and gives me two options "Test connection" and "cancel."
I checked and this seems to be the case with all Xbox 360 games I try to run on my Xbox One. It always gets to the same point and fails to connect.
I've scoured the support forums and it's quite challenging to find results that are specific to Xbox 360 games running on Xbox One; no one seems to be running into this issue.
Ubisoft this weekend is giving away all 7 of their freebies again! Go here (https://club.ubisoft.com/en-US/ubi30) to claim them if you happened to miss any. Prince of Persia: Sand of Time, Splinter Cell, Rayman Origins, The Crew, Beyond Good & Evil, Far Cry Blood Dragon, and Assassins Creed 3.
Oh, shit! I knew about that, but hadn't thought enough about it. Uplay acct? I think I have one, but never logged into it from PC.
Well, that was painless. I had forgotten my password, but I was in their system. Searching through my old emails, I found and remembered that I am Jackdaw951 on Uplay (Cobra was taken). Reset PW, logged in, one box tick and one button press, and bam--now I own 7 PC games. Ha!Old-USB XBox 360 controllers + new XBox One controllers should work on the PC.
I'm downloading Rayman Origins. Starting out small and undemanding.
Now I guess I need to see if an Xbox One controller will work if I plug it into USB. It should.
Edit: Played Rayman Origins for a while. I thought I had played it before, but that was Legends. Runs perfectly. It's just 2D, I know. Such a long time since I even try to play something on PC.
Keyboard is not ideal, though. I think I can dig up a USB cable with a mini end for one of my spare controllers. Will do that later.
I had to prod the Uplay downloader several times, as it kept saying the download failed. It would always resume from where it left off, but I'm wondering if there's some setting I should be tweaking. The PC has no issue with downloads itself. It's just Uplay. This was less than 3 GB. It would be a major pain to download a bigger game with dropped attempts every half GB.
Constructor (https://www.gog.com/game/constructor) is free on GOG.
Very cool. Thanks, D. They have a lot of related downloads too--music, guides, art. Why 7 separate 1.5GB downloads for the game? I could understand SL DVD-sized chunks. No big deal; just weird.
This will complete my Witcher collection. Can't wait to try it out.
I had this on uplay and now I have it on steam. One of these days I might actually install it.Same here.
