Post by: idolminds on Saturday, August 29, 2009, 12:35:51 PM
Interesting. (http://www.stardock.com/products/readytoplay/)

This is going to be a part of the next big Impulse update in Sept.

It does sound pretty sweet.  I'm really looking forward to seeing how Impulse expands.  I'd still prefer to avoid digital distribution altogether, but since a lot of games are download-only now, I'm liking having a place I don't hate to buy them.

Just picked up Trine and Braid last night.  Trine is really, really cool.

If I had to choice b/t Steam and Impulse, gimmie Impulse. At least they don't force stuff down your throats, for the most part w/ their very own games -- i.e. forcing updates/patches; forcing activation to even start SP games; etc etc.

I do prefer GOG's "Fuck DRM" attitude, though.
