Has anyone else noticed that when a game is being reviewed, the inventory system is never brought up unless it sucks? A good inventory system makes or breaks a game for me and a well put together one is very enjoyable for me. I guess I'm gettng old when my favorite part of a game is the inventory and menu. I like it to be complex, but also accessible. One of my favorites is Deus Ex, you have all the information you need at your fingertips. Past conversations, photos, notes and even notes that you can add yourself (I don't know why other games don't do this). What are some of your favorite inventory/menu screens?

yeah man, reviews should talk about things like that. As long as inventory management is important to the game and you'll be dealing with the interface a lot.

Agreed it should be commented on, though it doesn't tend to sway me on a game one way or the other. I'll put up with a shitty inventory system for a phenomenal game, and a nice inventory system never saves a bad game.
