I've tried a few but they all seem to be boring click fest time sinks driven by the need to pay for tokens, coins, game-cash or whatever.
I understand the pay for token concept as the game development companies need to make money but are there any games that are more than just time sinks? Is there one single Facebook game out there that involves strategy and not just flat out farming?

I know Sid Meier is actively working on a Civilization adaptation for Facebook. That could be very interesting.

Robot Unicorn

Basically every game on facebook is horrible. Robot Unicorn Attack is fun, and Bejeweled Blitz has its moments.
-
So, basically anything else you can play as a normal flash game elsewhere?

If you want "core" PC games, you need to stray far away from Facebook...

I don't play facebook games because you have to consent to letting the app access your profile.
And D, thank you for stating the obvious.

There's a Dragon Age one, not sure if it's any good. Someone here sent me an invite to it I think, but I didn't accept it because... well because it's a Facebook game. I thought I heard of some other big name getting a Facebook game, maybe it was Civ.
And Robot Unicorn Attack? I've played that before, but it wasn't on Facebook. Same with Bejeweled.

The only Facebook games that I've played are chess and scrabble. They worked well.

Dragon Age Legends is okaaaay.. Extremely monotonous.
I think Bejewled Blitz is probably the only Facebook game I put any real time into.

I thought I read some news somewhere saying that they canned it.

It's still being advertised as in development at its page.
