Title: Dragonforce

Anyone else discover this band yet.  Pure adrenalized genius.

I particularly enjoy listening while playing WoW.

Even better live.

Heh, I almost bought one of their albums when I was over in CA. From what heard its pretty cool stuff. Really dramatic and a little cheesy, but cool nonetheless. Check out the band Wintersun (http://www.wintermadness.net/), they are a little more toned down in terms of the cheese but its some really impressive sounding stuff.

I could get ahold of all three albums on MP3 for you if you are interested.

Dragonforce is pretty cool, I've been meaning to get more of their stuff, besides just listening to them on Pandora.

Also, joeactually, I would be interested in that offer you made to Pyro.

EDIT: Scratch that Joe, I "found" their discography.

Another good band that is similiar to Dragonforce is Gamma Ray, not quite as good, but good nonetheless.

If you get the chance to see them live I hightly recommend it.  They have it set up so that whoever is the focus (lead singer/gtr) they are front and center and they have it set up with fans so their hair blows around all dramatically.

F'n awesome.

I got a Dragonforce Bracer that gives me +15 to Cool.  Sadly I did not get the set bonus to Proc an Awesome bonus.

Cool?  I hope you're joking.  These guys can play like nobody's business (though their songwriting model is a good bit too repetitious from what I've heard), but the cheese factor is through the roof.  I have kind of a love/hate thing with them, but I wouldn't in a million years say they're cool.  They're pretty much the antithesis of cool.  They're everything that's horrible and cheesy about power metal, but they play awesome and can really do some good shit when they put their minds to it.

So yeah... I just don't know.  I haven't actually bought an album yet, and I don't know that I ever will, but they're certainly interesting.

haha so BG is super de super lame but you're all about dragonforce?

interesting dichotomy in musical taste between two bands that are pretty similar.

Dragonforce slays on the guitar though... and their drummer is one of the fastest I've heard, but yeah Que, i see the repetitiveness

Well what I dig about Dragonforce is the sheer technical madness.  BG is bigger on the cheese than technical stuff... and technical stuff doesn't get you the gold medal either, which is why I kinda' like Dragonforce sometimes, but I can't *really* get into them.  That said, for some reason I find them more amusing.  I really don't know why.

You wanna know why? Cause I'm a LIAR  Because BG never had wristbands!  It's all about the wristbands.  I will post pictures of their awesomeness.  They are totally Epic.
