Title: Gorillapod and Monsterpod (for cameras, not ipods)

I want both. They look awesomely useful. Heard a lot of good about both of them from several other sites as well, so they might be the real deal.

The Gorillapod is a tripod with very bendable legs. You can wrap them around poles and stuff to hold your camera wherever you want.

The Monsterpod apparently made a big splash at one of the big camera shows. Its got a sticky polymer base that forms and sticks to damn near everything. At the trade show they stuck it to branches, the underside of tables, the end of a golf club (why?), brick/cement, glass...anything. It peels back off and you can use it over and over.

I'm probably going to get one for my birthday. I'll probably go with the gorillapod for now and then buy myself a monsterpod after the holidays.

Wow those are handy!

When I get my hands on a SLR camera I'll be on the lookout for those.

Completely cool.  I could see a hundred uses for those.  I'd go Gorilla for sure.
