WIN32.BACKDOOR.CIADOOR
Basically, it messes with Norton Antivirus and randomly opens things at startup. Additionally, it disables my task manager and my ability to edit the register. I was also reading that it looks for personal info.
I have tried getting rid of it with the following programs: Adaware, AVG, and Norton. Each time it comes back when I restart.
I am scared that my personal info is going to be taken. I have passwords saved on Firefox to my amazon.com account. I changed that password. My favorites also has a link to my bank, though you can't save the password to that (thank god).
On another rant, why can't Microsoft do something about this? This was created in 2003. I am switching to Linux again when I go back home for Christmas.

Disable system restore. Boot to safe mode.
Run Norton antivirus.
Jubilation.

You can find something funny everywhere right?
-
Run Microsoft's malicious software removal tool, then do an online scan from Trend Micro.

Gah, and I thought this is going to be about a condom...

If it makes you feel any better cools, I frequently have that problem with condoms.

I too thought this thread was about a dry spell initially.

Same here. Then I was going to make a joke and decided against it.
