And God, is it overdue.
Can't wait to dive into it tomorrow afternoon. Servers permitting of course...
Gonna get my hunter to 70. I've got pots out the yin-yang, my gear is all ready to go, my bank is clean and organized. I'm ready to go.
-
Getting it tonight at midnight! I pretty much have forsaken my original main (paladin) and am going to level my warrior to 70 first.
-
I'll either level my 24 priest or start a new char. Just starting playing again recently, so I don't really have any lvl 60's.
-
I'm gonna wait.
-
I'm definitely waiting too. WoW is just too much of a time sink when there's a lot of other stuff on your plate, and my plate is way too full.

Ditto.

I like what little free time I have these days. Besides, if I got back into WoW my minis would kill me.

One of the drivers that pick up stuff at my work place went to Best Buy at the South Shore Plaza to pick it up. He said the line was going outside to get this expansion pack!!!
That's crazy....for an $40 expansion, comes on 4-5 CD's, and has a monthly fee to it.
Does the Burning Crusade: Collector's Ed come on DVD?

D... the price tag, the number of CDs and the monthly fee wouldn't affect its popularity. WoW comes on 5 or 6 CDs to start with and those playing it already pay the monthly fee.
Though I had hopped it would be a DVD but then my PC isn't working, I'd be lucky to just install this thing! It’s just tight-arses who’d get hung up on the price and the monthly fee, so much so that they wouldn’t buy it – you know, people like you D. :P

Good point, Jedi.
The game could come on a bunch of floppy disks and it would still sell with a user base of 6-million people.

Last I heard it was up to 8 million... they must be rolling in the money!

It is my understanding the collectors edition has both the CD and DVD versions included.
-
That's how the collectors edition for the core game was... damn I'm still bitter about waiting just a bit too long to get the BC Collectors edition. Even if I'm not going to play for some time I wish I had it.
But yeah, I can't remember a Blizzard expansion that wasn't $40. Maybe Starcraft, but like 8 years ago. At the same time, I can't remember a time where $40 felt overpriced for a Blizzard expansion. I imagine it's the same case here.
