Just saw this.  Pretty good movie, but I felt it was kind of long.  Lots of parts that felt a little drawn out, but overall, I enjoyed it.

That's pretty much what I thought. I really liked Blood Diamond, but they still found a way to stick some cliches in there heh.

Aww shit, I just realized it was a double spoiler... or was it?

Anyway I was looking up reviews on rottentomatoes, and one made me laugh. It said this was the goofiest message movie ever, which I found funny because that's what I was thinking as well. The movie has a serious message, some fantastic acting, coupled with a goofy weird love story and a guy who has plenty of rambo moments.

It was like a hindi movie! A bit of everything.

Actually, no, I wasn't.

I was taking a stab at how you said how everybody gets naked in the movies in the 70's....
My sarcastic line was questioning if this still remains the same, in current times, given how many movies are loaded w/ nudity and sex scenes...

Haha!  Paranoia setting in, I guess.

Yeah, there's still nudity, but it will always be some young starlet who had to do that to ever get her shot.  Once upon a time, the headliners were shedding clothes left and right in American cinema.  Obligatory tit shots all over, and quite a bit more on occasion.  You don't see that much anymore, and it's now regarded (once again) as a questionable thing to do, not career advancement.

Kind of like how Anne Hathaway did "Havoc" to get out of only being offered roles for movies like "Princess Diaries", hehe.
