Bros b-day today so we were out and about. He went to the Volo auto museum, which also has these shops. One shop has tons of classic games and stuff, like 3 boxed copies of Nights with the 360 controller (Sega Saturn...not Xbox 360) for $30 a pop. Anyway, I picked up a link cable for my GB/GBC/GBA to connect to my GB Printer. Hooray!
Target had Killer 7 (GC) for $4 so I figured I'd give it a whirl. At TRU I grabbed Tomb Raider Legend (Xbox) and Ape Escape 3 (PS2) for $10 each. So my weekend will be pretty busy. woot!

Killer 7 is a fun game and definitely worth $4. I just got some new games too, a co-worker had a copy of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night and Castlevania: Chronicles and sold them both to me for $50. I had been wanting to replace those two games forever now since they were stolen.

Nice. Always good to pick up old games that are great.

I completely forgot to check that classic games store for FF7 for Que. Next time I go back there (shouldnt be long, my bro loves that place) I'll be sure to check. I also want to see if they have SOTN there for myself. Never played it.

Holy shit, what are you waiting for? Go now!!
-
Seriously, go now! And thanks for thinking of me. It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy. And lately, that's uncommon.

I would have remembered if I bothered looking at the PSX titles in the case. I was kind of caught up looking for my cables, plus mom wanted to go look at something else with me so I was a little rushed. Chances are quite good they will have copies of both games.
Some of it can be pricey, like the GBCs are $40 each. Honestly those should be $15 at most.
I just spent the last couple hours checking out Tomb Raider. I'm enjoying it quite a bit. So far mostly ruins and good stuff, though the last mission and probably the next bit are in some chinese dudes highrise. Bugger...better get back to caves and ruins after that.
I dabbled in Ape Escape for a little bit as well. Monkeys. Net. Get the monkeys in the net. Solid gold.

I loved the original Ape Escape for PSX, never did play the sequels, I probably should give them a try sometime.
-
They're no match for the original. Avoid the Academy one at all costs. I loved the original game, bad voice acting and all.

I'm keeping my eyes open for the original.
