Ok, so autostitch is super amazing since this was probably the poorest attempt at taking several shots to stitch together and it did it wonderfully.
Anyway, just a quick panorama I took while at the auto show. There is a cafe area thats up above the show floor so it was a perfect opportunity to take a couple pics. Keep in mind this is only about 180 degrees of one of the 2 halls of the show. Huge, huge show. I've got quite a few photos obviously, so I'll be posting them in the next few days.
Oddly, this years show just wasn't as interesting as last years. We even talked to a guy on the train and he agreed. There were some cool concept cars and that was about it. A lot of what they were showing off was hybrids and such...which look just like regular cars so the wow factor is pretty low. Now, I'm not really a "car guy" so every year isn't that interesting...but this year felt especially weak.

Nice pano! I'm not much of a car guy either, but it can be fun to go to shows sometimes. Too bad this year wasn't so hot.

I'm supposed to go to the Cinci show this coming weekend, with my brother. I hope this frigging weather improves by then. (The world outside is a big pile of snow and ice, and we're getting more. Damn this global warming.) I haven't been to one since I had a job downtown, which is about 8 years ago, I think.

Ok, go nuts! (http://flickr.com/photos/idolminds/sets/72157594534790022/) This is a combo of the Chicago Auto show and the Volo Auto Museum. Its pretty easy to tell which is which, so don't worry. And all those movie cars? Those are the real deal from those movies (The shot up hearse from T3 was really cool to see).
