Sounds more like a morrowind in space sort of game than a GTA one.
Sounds and looks great so far, wait and see how it turns out.
-
Color me interested.
-
Sounds cool and looks nice. The engine sounds a lot like a more advanced version of the X-ray engine (S.T.A.L.K.E.R.).
-
Seamless engine are going to be the "new thing"...and thank god for that. ids next engine/project will allow for seamless "levels", I think UE3 has something like that as well.
Imagine how much better HL2 would have been if it didn't have to pause to load every 5 minutes. One long seamless game...amazing things will happen here soon. You just wait. (oh wait, wrong game...haha)
-
Heh. Yeah, this looks cool, and seamless games should have been a focus ever since it was pulled off so beautifully with Soul Reaver. That was like the first time I'd ever seen it done so perfectly.
-
Woah, it looks like Chrome, Oblivion, and FarCry all rolled into one!
I hope it turns out great. It certainly sounds pretty amazing.
-
The setting is a lot like that of Mass Effect.
But the screenies don't look too attractive to me. Technically it looks like an achievement, but artistically I am far from attracted. There is just too much color in there.

For those who didn't know - Precursors is finally available in USA on Gamersgate. (http://www.gamersgate.com/DD-PREC/precursors)

Don't show me that. God damn it, that sounds just like... what I love about gaming.
-
Since Precursors got it huge share of technical problems, I really can't wait to see what some of the modders might do w/ it.
Wesp - who did tons of Vampire: BL unofficial patches - has been for a while was working on doing Russian->English text translation for Precursors and improving it - since some have actually imported the Russian version of the game.
If Wesp gets working on fixing up Precursors unofficially w/ his patches and does what he did w/ Vamp: BL, that'd be freaking sweet. He did a hell of a job w/ fixing Bloodlines.
Deep Shadows are the Russian company that made Boiling Point: Road To Hell (AKA Xenus in other regions). They just also released Xenus II: White Gold (AKA Boiling Point 2) on Gamersgate. (http://www.gamersgate.com/DD-XENUS2/xenus-2-white-gold)

Wesp has been releasing his Unofficial Patches for this game.

Damn it. You had to remind me of this one, didn't you?

I'm glad Wesp - who did a great job modding and unofficially patching Vamp: BL - is working on unofficial patches for Precursors. Hopefully, he can work out most of the issues and all - since there seems to be a good deal left-over.
I'll keep my eyes peeled on Gamersgate for this - in case a sale comes up for it.
