Title: Silent Storm: Gold Edition -- yuh, so how was this game??
Post by: MysterD on Friday, March 16, 2007, 06:09:56 PM
So, last weekend, I picked up @ CompUSA -- Silent Storm: Gold Edition (comes w/ Silent Storm and the SS: Sentinels expansion). Damn cheap, too, for like around $7.

I ain't touched it yet, as I'd in the midst of some big RPG's already -- namely, Jade Empire. It's installed, but I don't wanna start another yet.

So, for those who actually played Silent Storm, how is the game, in your opinion?

And if you played Silent Storm: Sentinels expansion, how is that??

SS is a good game. Fun turn-based strategy. I havent played the expansion, but if its more of the same thats a good thing.

It's like X-COM: UFO Defense (or Terror From the Deep) set in WWII, although X-COM is the better game.

It's a pretty good game, but slightly buggy.  I was never able to finish the because my main character just would drop dead on a certain turn of this one map no matter what I did.

It's a fun game, I enjoyed it. It's a turn-based WWII strategy game. Didn't encounter scott's problem, worked fine for me. It's also fairly open ended, which is nice. :)
