I heard about it on the GFW podcast, and my ears perked up when he likened the game to Pikmin. You're the new Overlord and trying to build your reputation. All these minions think you're the old Overlord, so they follow you around and will do your evil bidding like killing things and terrorizing villages. Controls similar to Pikmin, even.
Personally, it sounds awesome. Thought I should spread the word.

Pikmin was already evil... it just hid it well.
Looks kinda cool though. From that trailer it strikes me more as something derived from Sacrifice than Pikmin with the lower perspective and odds that you're guy is probably a fighter as well as a commander.

I've been following it for a while... looks like it has a lot of potential. Hard to say how it'll turn out, but I'm optimistic.

Haha, yeah. My friend's girlfriend started crying when I accidentally drowned half of my Pikmin.
