Norton was great in that movie, as usual. He usually is great, anyways.
That was Jessica Biel's best role....period....

Yeah, I loved this movie.  I'll definitely be picking it up on DVD at some point.

I watched this recently.  I liked it, but I'm not sure how I feel about the special effects being used to portray the illusions.  On one hand, they have to give modern audiences the sense of awe an audience from that period would have experienced with tricks which might be obvious to us now.  But on the other hand, it's . . . sort of cheating?  Not sure.  Good movie regardless.  The weird thing is that I saw The Prestige like a week earlier.  Now that movie goes a bit far afield in the magic realm, no?  Why do movies with similar themes seem to crop up close together all the time?

I just finished the Prestige. Holy effin' shit.

Chris Nolan rocks.

I have to say I liked The Prestige more, but it is a matter of preference. I think they both rocked. Two of the best movies I've seen in some time, and in one night too.

It's always that way -- everything seems to go in cycles, very often. Especially if there is a very successful movie, you'll find 1,000 more in the same genre come out.
