Yay, I get one!  I need this PSP game given that I won't have the opportunity for God of War III on PS3 unless something changes drastically for me in the next year or two.

I got my demo today (well, yesterday, but it's just been sitting in my mailbox all weekend). It's a pretty sweet little package for a free thing and even comes with a little omega symbol trinket.

Now I just have to give it a play.

I was going to post about this too, but forgot in my flurry of Jericho today.  Yeah, it's a pretty cool little package. I'll give it a go at some point soon I'm sure.

So... holy cow that's an impressive piece of work. The game plays almost exactly like the "normal" God of War titles, but the really amazing thing is it actually looks almost as good and that's even downplaying it a little. It actually looks just as good as the PS2 games. I'm sure part of it is that the smaller screen with a larger refresh rate lets them get away with a little detail and maybe the environments are a bit smaller, but damn it doesn't feel that way while you're playing.

So yeah, check out the demo if you can. I think it's hard not to be impressed by what they're pulling off here.

Everything I've seen has been impressive, but for some reason I still haven't broken out the demo to try it.  Don't know why.

Yeah, I've played through the demo a few times now and I can say with certainty that it'll be a purchase.
