Icewind Dale 1 + 2 (original editions)
Takin' it back to the old Infinity Engine here....
Yes, as much as I'm into RPG's, surprisingly, I never played any of the Icewind Dales...ZERO of them.

So, for those who played them, how was...
Icewind Dale 1?
Icewind Dale: Heart of Winter (Expansion to ID)?
Icewind Dale: Heart of Winter: Trials of the Luremaster (free expansion to HoW)?

And how was Icewind Dale II?

I picked up a pack of all of it ages ago, but I still haven't played them.  They look neato, just... I dunno', I got out of the whole Infinity Engine thing after PS:T.

Bought them all on day one.  I loved them all, too.  I wasn't quite as absorbed in them as I was the BG series, but regardless, still a good way to spend several hours.  The only beef I can really come up with was that Heart of Winter was too short, but they good guys that they are they released Luremaster.

They're all good.  Play them if you haven't yet (and can find them).

After reading about BIS and their stuff on Wikipedia about the old FO3, I saw mentions of Icewind Dale .

And then, I was just thinking to myself -- "Why didn't I buy the entire collection for $20 (or less) when it hit that price???"

Hell, I still got TOEE which I ain't played, laying there -- which I got damn cheap for like $10, long time ago.

Maybe b/c the graphics looked old?!?!?!

I think by that time IWD Collection came out, Morrowind and NWN were out -- w/ their expansions out, as well. Could be why you didn't play IWD -- just like why I didn't buy them.

Hmmm...I wonder if it works on XP....
Or even Vista, just b/c we know how "great" Vista is when it comes to issues w/ older stuff, heh...
