Title: Shaped text?
Post by: idolminds on Tuesday, September 19, 2006, 07:21:26 PM
I need to find a way to shape a block of text. For example, I want a short phrase that looks like a bowtie (wide at the ends and skinnier in the middle). It would be freaking easy in Inkscape if I could figure out how to attach the text to form to a box. But I havent found a way to do that.

Hmm, I'll take a look at it in Inkscape, but I suspect if might have to with setting a text path or adjusting the text box.

Well, that would be fairly easy in Photoshop.  You just use a transform.  I've never even heard of Inkscape, so I can't help you there.
