Anyone else like them? The 80s light rock band?

They had some sweet stuff. Never got into them on the whole, though, just because I never really bought any albums, but there are a number of tunes I won't turn off if they come on the radio, and plenty of stuff I listen to at my friend's house.

I bought this album:

On the recommendation of my cousin maybe seven years ago. I really enjoyed it, and really liked their understated style. Unfortuantely I left it in Saudi Arabia about five years ago, and recently got a hold of it again when my sis brought it back.
Its pretty nice. I suggest a download to see if it something you'd want to purchase later.

I don't think I have an album in my collection that I like more than Brothers in Arms. Mark Knopfler on guitar is like drugs, or something.

I am not sure what songs are in that album, but something like "Wild theme" is beautifully played.

There are no words (from me). Just listen.

Yeah, that's a great song. And you know, I think this is the first music group Cobra and I really have in common.

I have every single Dire Straits cd and Brother in Arms is my least favourite. I'm not sure why, it just doesn't do it for me. Love Over Gold is worth the purchase simply for Telegraph Road. I can't find any youtube videos of it though. One of their best songs, and not on the greatest hits. Communique and Making Movies are also worth getting
