Well, I dunno if this can be done in Windows, but when I stick a disc in for my PC, I keep on Autorun. Yuh, I'm lazy, I know.
But, some games just -- eh, I wish they never AutoRun. For example, on my new PC, Condemned never Auto-Runs right. It always comes up blank for the splash screen.
I remember on my old PC, Arx's Auto-Run Splash Screen would crash at boot up, every time.
So, instead of making all discs or NO discs autorun, is there a way I can make "some discs" not Autorun period?
I have TweakUI -- this don't look to have an "ALL Autorun except these exceptions" list or a list of "These discs only autorun"?

not that i know of. as you may know, you can hold down the shift key while the disk is spinning up to prevent autorun though.

Yeah, that's all I do. Just make sure to hold the key down long enough. The disc has to spin up, then seek, then try to autorun. That can take several seconds.

No.
I always disable autorun. I'd hate to accidentally insert a Sony music CD and get a rootkit installed.

Ooooh, this I didn't know.
Thanks for the info. :)

Good point, if you buy music CDs with rootkits. Since I've pretty much stopped buying them (and such evil corruptions of the format are part of the reason), it's easy for me to make sure beforehand that any exceptions are not infected with malicious software.
