I recall sometimes passing by screen displays in the mall and seeing a Windows "Critical Error" on the screen, and I was surprised because I didn't expect these displays and kiosks would be running Windows!
Here's a photo a guy (Mike Lippa) took of the QuickDraw Lotto display screen (http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/40180207/).

I was at the local airport, I was looking at one of the infomation screens, the one next to it had a windows error on it.
I also remember there was a windows error displayed in Times Square - whcih sparked a Windows vs Apple argument. ;D

I've seen several signs with windows errors on them. One was the big stadium in Grand Forks.
