Nice. I'm going to pick it up, depending on how much it's going for.

If you had to pick between the DS and PSP version which would you choose?

DS.  PSP has multiple crippling bugs that, to my knowledge, have not yet been addressed.  The publisher farmed the ports out to somebody other than the actual dev, who I guess never saw either the DS or PSP version, and that was a very fucking bad decision.  I *love* this stupid game, but I can't play it anymore even though I bought a legit copy for my PSP.  I am, as you might imagine, well beyond pissed.

Mostly crash bugs.  There are several, but the only one that springs to mind is the one I get *every time* I try to select my level 15 (I think it was) spell.  Hence I also can't use any spells *above* that one either because the game has to pass through 15 every time.  Also, my character can't select a 6th spell.  Only 5.  Though it says I have one slot left, after a while it just stopped letting me choose a 6th.  Plus there's the first bug known on the PSP, which was known at review time, and that's the one where your companion's benefits don't actually work.  So if the guy supposedly helps you kill undead... well, he doesn't.  That one is no big deal, but the rest are.  I don't know that every user has the problems, but a hell of a lot of them do.  The forums were madness, I tell you.  I don't think anything ever came of it, though I haven't checked in a while.

A shame, too, because it's really one hell of a good game.
