Title: I bought a DS flashcart

And it fucking rocks. Seriously, I was just playing Monkey Island on my DS.

I will post more, but of course my DS battery is low so its charging now (I would play while its plugged in but I have something else to do right now). Rest assured I will discuss this in greater detail soon.

Or...perhaps, this will become the subject of the next podcast. I talk DS homebrew, Que talks PSP homebrew.

Flashcarts are great. I tried dabbling in SNES and GBA homebrew, but the SuperCard really sucks when it comes to that kind of stuff. Oh yeah, flashcarts suck your battery life down in only a few hours so you might want to plug your DS in after you get done playing it.

In that case I should get a car adapter so I can use it while traveling...which I will use it a lot then.

The best GBA flash carts have the same power consumption as GBA games.  I don't know if this is the case (yet) with DS flash carts.
