A lower court's ruling found him guilty, making the claim that he should have known it was stolen because the price was so low. He was fined 1200 euros ($1700).
What sort of crazy fucking logic is that?

You never know what some idiot judge is going to do. I would imagine intention to steal has to enter the picture, and you can't infer that. You have to prove it. The higher court did the right thing.
