So we can all play on a server with Idol so he doesnt get kicked for have high ping. Who has this game by the way?

Why did Valve allow HTML MotDs? People are putting sounds and music in the MOTD when you join a server, and theres no way to disable downloading them from what I've seen.

So...yeah, my ping sucks ass until its downloaded (of course, no progress bar either).

That doesn't matter though. If I'm not autokicked for having a ping over 150ms, I'm kicked because my lag is somehow magically causing others to lag (hello netcode 101: shit don't work like that).

*sigh*....sorry, venting.

Man, I need DoD. When we chatted on GTalk this morning I felt kinda bad about how long I've been out of the multiplayer scene. DoD was sweet and I've been very curious about DoD:Source.

Hopefully someday I'll pick it up and we'll all play online :D

I have zero interest in anything Valve/Source/Steam related at this point, but DoD never interested me anyway.

Have it, hate it.  Well I guess I don't hate it, but I'm really bad at it and I die a lot and therefore it isn't much fun watching everyone else play.
