OC Remixes apparently did another total remix album, this time for Final Fantasy VII.

I haven't actually listened to it (much less downloaded it), but damn if they didn't cover a lot of ground. Four CDs, covering pretty much the entire soundtrack from what I can tell. That's pretty impressive.

I could swear somebody posted this already. But yeah, it's a hell of a lot of music. I haven't really listened to it much yet because I've yet to throw it on disk.

I went ahead and got the full torrent. I'm still seeding it, actually. It came down very quickly, but as usual, upload is painfully slow thanks to Roadrunner policies.
I'm listening to the 1st CD MP3s. I'm not a big fan of cacophonous rock. There's a bit too much of that so far. I was expecting something more melodic. A few of the tunes do that very well. One even has a very sweet female vocalist, which surprised me. I thought I'd recognize more of the music, but so far, it's nothing like listening to a Zelda or Symphony of the Night remix. I'll keep listening, but not to #12. That has got to go. Excuse me . . .
Edit: CD 2, on the other hand, I can leave playing in the background without any ear bleeds. It just wrapped back to the beginning. Good stuff. I did recognize some of the music here.

I am the opposite of Cobra and like the "cacophonous rock" tracks on here and there is a good mix of heavy and mellow stuff on here. I've been listening to it since last night and I am highly impressed so far, I really dig tracks 5 and 11, overall the album doesn't really have any bad tracks, just some that aren't as good as others. I'll probably be listening to this more for the next few days.
