...I am really itching to write something back to my friend's girlfriend. I'm probably not going to since it would just create a cluster fuck of drama making things more awkward between me and my friend, plus it involves myspace. I'll just get to the point, my friend's girlfriend is on my friend's list and she posted a bulletin not too long ago. I'm just going to summarize cause i want to keep her owns words to herself. It just said, I'm sick of being on myspace because nobody checks my blogs, looks at my pictures, or leaves comments, yadda yadda yadda I want attention... and she's mad at everybody on her friend's list (including me!) that I don't participate more in her life. I really really want to go off on her, but I won't throw it hard at first, my first message would just be something like, "Do you really mean everything you just said there?" and wait for a response which would be her chance to apologize and go smoothly from there.
However it's not my business to get involved with my friends bitchy girlfriend so I don't think I will. In reality I shouldn't even give a fuck, I barely even see the dude anymore why I should I make it more hard on our distant friendship, its just pointless. It really makes me dislike her a whole lot though, and continues to burn my hatred for myspace even more.

If she's being serious, I would ignore that as completely as I could. It's infantile for her to expect random acquaintances to shower her with attention. You don't want to feed her fantasy, so ignore her. You don't want antagonism with your friend, so ignore her. Act like you never even found out.

I think you're reading into this a little too much, she wants attention...everyone does. You don't have to leave some love note or an essay, a ten second, stupid, silly comment will do the trick.

Nick sort of has a point. Everybody wants attention. I guess that's why I hate a lot of people and do my best to avoid social sites for the most part. Seems like it's really just a bunch of people who want attention. But I think Cobra is right - just ignore her. Giving her any attention, positive or negative, is what she wants, and outright ignoring it would be a far better punishment.
