And I feel bad that I don't own any of them. I've been thinking about buying the big box set, though. That would be so worth owning. But again... how does one justify the cost? That's like the mantra of my life lately.
Anyway... hot damn. If you want yourself some really great original jazz/blues/rock, you should listen to it. And if you haven't watched the show, you really should. I've just been on a massive jazz kick the last couple weeks, so I also wanted to get all the jazz stuff off the CB OSTs for my MP3 player, and I was reminded of just how good it really is. Check it out.

I love that soundtrack, its one of my favorite anime soundtracks. I've got them all on my computer but I would love to own the CDs but the official box set is so damn expensive. Also, Que you should give the Ghost In The Shell Stand Alone Complex OSTs a listen to, Yoko Kanno did those as well, not as jazzy as Bebop, but still good.

Yeah, she's really something. She does a wide variety of stuff, and it's nearly all great. I think what sets Bebop apart is the whole Seatbelts thing, though. I would loved to have caught one of those live recordings.
Also, Cobra, I started this thread almost entirely for your benefit. Just so you know. :P

:o Who, me?
I've never watched Cowboy Bebop. I have seen the show in passing, from one channel to another. I have no clue what the OST sounds like. I guess this will be a new experience.

Just try it, one way or another. If you don't enjoy it (either the music or the show), I'll buy you a CD or something.

Alright! There's an offer I can't refuse.

Cowboy Bebop is my favorite anime ever (closely follwed by Death Note), I love everything about the series.
-
Death Note was really good and has one of the craziest and awesome opening songs ever for the second part of the show.

I have a Seatbelts - CB/OST Live CD.
