Title: Set your clocks back
Post by: Ghandi on Saturday, November 03, 2007, 07:32:27 PM
Everyone gains an hour of sleep tonight at 2 a.m. Don't be that guy that forgets.

YAY!

An extra hour of sleep will make my day much, much better tomorrow.

I have to go back to Eastern time from Atlantic.  No SP2 means no patch for the new daylight savings dates.  For the past week, my PC was on Atlantic time (GMT-4).

In other words, you're all going to take your extra hour and waste it.  NOT I!

Yeah I already set my clock back.

Are you implying that sleep is a waste of time?

That's pretty much the creed I live by.

My PC has been an hour back for the last two weeks.

My cell phone switched last week. It was very confusing at first, I thought I showed up at work at 6:30am instead of 7:30.

I still go to sleep at the same time and wake up at the same time....

And sleep is awesome. All those worries, and crap just go away for a little while. Plus I think sleeping keeps you young. I sleep at least 8 hours a day anymore, and I feel and look better than when I was sleeping like 4 hours a night or so because I stayed up playing video games. I mean, I still stay up on weekends to do that....god...I feel old...

8 hours of sleep doesn't do anything for me beyond what 5 does, and while a good rest does much to ease worry and woe in the morning, I don't find that getting any extra compounds the amount of relief.  Even a nap for a couple hours eases my mind worry-wise as much as a full night.

I hate sleep.  It is the enemy.

I hate that it takes the time away, but I feel just like you do about it.  I do feel better all day when I sleep 7-8 hours instead of 3-4.  I can function OK on 5, but it's not ideal.

OK, time zone back to Eastern once more.  There has to be a non-MS (or privately streamlined MS) fix for this out there, but I probably won't care about it again until Spring.

God damn government. Why do we only get an extra hour of sleep one night a year? Why can't they just pass a law giving us an extra hour every night?

That could be possibly the most entertaining law ever.
