The local government funding group (NZ on Air) said they wouldn't fund them because they didn't think it would be funny... hahaha.

Pff, I know. I usually find my Antipodean friends eager to mock themselves, however, and so I guess it rubbed off. Also 'New Zealand' by the Scaredies.
