Zhang, a 35-year-old labourer from central Henan province, said: "I bit the fellow in the back. Its skin was quite thick.

"I just wanted to touch it. I was so dizzy from the beer. I don't remember much."

A spokeswoman for the Beijing Zoo said Gu Gu was "healthy and uninjured."

Zhang is due to make a full recovery.

I was wondering that question as well.


I'm also surprised the chinese government didn't throw the guy in some dark hole for the rest of his life.  Aren't they really attached to their pandas?

i guess cause the panda wasn't really hurt.. I guess they didn't love it that much if it was so easy to get into the cage.
