Title: Wal-mart bomb threat
Post by: Dragonlor on Tuesday, November 13, 2007, 04:40:25 PM
So everyone knows I work for Wal-Mart.  One of the most diabolical corporations in existence.  Well today at around 11:45am central time someone calls in saying theres a bomb.  Probably one of my happiest times working there.  We got the right to tell all the customers to leave the store and then ourself afterwards and sat around doing nothing for 2 hours.  It felt like a wondrous day.

Not yet I planted the pre-paid phone I activated with a false name and address in some customers car.

Haha, bombs threats are always kinda fun. All of the higher ups take it so seriously and the people beneath them just kinda run around like the place is a playground. The best part is 99% the bomb threat is a hoax, I've had some at my job and at school.

Well to be honest, I bought one right after writing that. I found a deal on eBay with a $25 premium, so I went for it.

But here is a tip for you. The thing is selling really well on eBay and very hard to find. It is a big collector's piece. It was made in Japan a year ago but for some reason was painted blue, which was big turn off. Now they've released an accurate version, but it is a USA wallmart exclusive. So you can imagine collectors over the world going bonkers for it.

Anyway it seems to be netting a $25 profit on average, so you could try a fixed price auction. :P

:P  BTW, I am sorry to hear that about the bomb threat. Hope no one was too shaken up.

No most of us found it more funny then scary.  I laughed at the fact the customers stood about 20 feet from the building while the rest of us walk about 150 yards away.  And right as they saw us going in the building they rushed in.
