Title: Tabula Rasa
Post by: Dragonlor on Thursday, November 15, 2007, 10:48:04 PM
Just bought Tabula Rasa collectors edition.  I can't wait to start playing again after I enjoyed the beta so so much.  Richard Garriott has once again made me a happy boy.

I heard that was good. Is there a monthly fee for it?

I've been following this. Would be interested in your opinions.

I heard it was lame.  It had an awesome opening video, though.  That alone almost made me want to play.

Well they made some great improvements from the beta I was in.  Made the graphics a little bit better for lower end video cards.  The bag ui is better, having a slot for ammo separate from equip items and so forth.  The shooting has improved as well.  In beta it was real hit and miss, you would shoot and waste ammo and nothing would happen not even a miss message.  But that seems to be pretty much fixed from what I can tell.

Now away from the technical part of the whole thing.  The story in my opinion though not original to say the least, they did it well.  Earth is no longer a possible home for humans anymore.  The Bane(Bad guys) have eliminated the chance of going back.  Basically like the title says humans now have to start again from a clean slate.
