Quote
BEIJING: A Taiwanese lingerie company encouraged its entire female office staff to go to work in their undies for the day. The Audrey Underwear company in Taizhong city named November 21 Camisole Day to celebrate record sales. All 500 women working in the firm’s headquarters were encouraged to wear only camisoles and knickers — much to the excitement of their male colleagues. “We have been waiting for this day all month. We are super high, and don’t know where to put our eyes,” salesman Cai Mingda told Straits News.

More than 90% of female workers reportedly went along with the spirit of the day and worked in their underwear. Employment lawyers said there was nothing illegal in the move so long as it was voluntary but it had its critics. Wu Juanyu complained: “Some women may feel forced to join in because of peer pressure. I don’t know if the company is selling underwear or women’s bodies.”

The fuck is wrong with people?  I mean I like girls in underwear as much as the next guy, but what's the point of such a stunt?

i think if you're looking for anything deeper than "to see girls in their underwear", you've already missed the point.

I don't think I'd want to see most of the women I have worked with in their underwear.

If this happened at my job, I'd have one or two very nice surprises surrounded by a giant flaming heap of "OH GOD PLEASE MAKE ME BLIND!"

Exactly.  And I'm not sure the few good looking women would be worth the mental anguish of seeing the hideous fatties in lingere.

Hmm, that's not too far a stretch from bathing/swimming suits. It may as well have been Bikini Village encouraging employees to wear the 'beachiest' merchandise.

Well these are office workers. They probably have jobs involving number crunching etc.

Is wearing bikinis part of the bikini village employee job description? I am not sure what that is actually. Is it like hooters? Or maybe Southpark's Raisins? :P
